Sometimes

Sometimes these two irritate each other on purpose.

Sometimes they are easily offended and hyper-sensitive.

Sometimes they're looking for an excuse to pick a fight.

Sometimes they get fed up, sigh, and roll their eyes at each other.

Sometimes they want some time apart from each other.

But sometimes they adore each other, prefer each other, and are affectionate and playful with each other. Sometimes both of them will get sucked into a pretend game or a random toy and play with it for a couple of hours at a time, beautifully. Sometimes I come downstairs in the morning and find them curled up on the couch under a blanket, cuddling each other while they watch TV. And when you ask them how they feel about each other, they'll always say they love each other! And that makes my Mama heart happy!
