Big Dad

Everyone around here knows that, while Mama Bird and Big Dad are always on the same team, one of us is more lenient and one of us is more strict. We're both push-overs in some ways, and we both like to say "yes" as much as we possibly can. But we need the rules, and the boundaries, and Big Dad is here to enforce them. Lucky for us, he's so playful and good about it! That's why it cracked me up to discover this picture that he texted to Hope when she had a sleepover with a friend and said they were still awake at 11pm!

He can be tough, but it's common knowledge that he's a giant softie and would do absolutely anything for any of us. We love him! And he loves us!
