But of course we braved the storm to get outside and play! Well, Grant only stayed out for a few minutes. The snow was still falling at the time, and he really didn't like it hitting his face. I don't blame him. He probably also resented the full-body teddy bear snowsuit too ... sorry, buddy.

Hope was mostly interested in eating the snow, but was beside herself with joy when Daddy built her the igloo she requested.

Daddy and our neighbor got out the wheelbarrow and shovels to make a snow mountain in our backyard. The next day, Hope's friend Ladan came over and the daddies made the mountain even bigger, with a track and side rails. It rocked!

Hope had a good time playing outside, but honestly I think skipping her nap that day was a bridge too far. She hopped in the shower with Daddy before dinner (around 5pm) and promptly fell asleep! In the shower!

The following days we played outside and had still more fun, adding forts and roads to our snow playground.

But we made sure to observe naptime!
