Days with Naomi

Hope and her BFF, Naomi, have gotten into a little pattern lately where they've hosted each other for most of the day one day a week. They love having the extended time together, and it's a wonderful break for me and Naomi's mom. They play so well together that having them both is easier than just having one!

Tomorrow is Hope's day to spend the day at Naomi's house, but here's a run-down of the things we did last week when Naomi was here.

- Dance party, featuring "Love Shack" by the B-52's (over and over)
- Sword fight between the two princesses and the two bad guys (me and Grant)
- Decorating these crowns, and feeling very special while wearing them



- Grilled cheese lunch. One unwrapped the cheese while the other spread butter :)
- They played dollhouse while I tucked Grant in for his nap
- Making and decorating Rice Krispie treats
- Manicures (while I painted one girl, the other did a dance to 'entertain' us)
- Movie and snack

 

- They tickled, loved, and generally smothered Grant when he re-joined us after his nap
- And they colored for a looooong time

It was great! And Hope went to bed tonight so excited that "after this day is the day I go to Nomi's house!"
