Pops from Papa

Hope and Grandpa have a new 'thing.' Every time they get together, Grandpa (or Pa-pa, as Hope calls him) has a lollipop in his shirt pocket. Oh the joy!

If they talk on the phone in advance of the visit, Grandma or Grandpa will ask her what color lollipop (or pop, as Hope calls it) she'd like. And if she says green, she'll remember that the pop is supposed to be green! If she asks for purple, she'll expect the next pop to be purple! Not that she'd turn down any color, but it's funny that she is so specific about it.

As if she didn't love Grandpa enough already ... !
