Playtime with Mommy & Daddy

We've had some special time lately playing at home with Hope. She's getting to be such a big kid who can say practically everything, make real jokes, and use her imagination - it makes playing with her so fun!

She still can't 'drive' this little police car, though she does like to push it around. But when I climbed in it the other day, she thought it was the funniest thing she'd ever seen. Daddy thought it was pretty funny too. What was funnier was trying to get out ...

Hope has a new set of watercolors, which Daddy taught her how to use. She mostly likes swishing the brush around in water, but occassionally some paint makes it to the paper. I told her this was a 'big girl' thing, and lately anything that we can sell as a 'big girl' thing is likely to gain acceptance :)

Hope and I both have a nasty cold right now, so we're a bit off. But we're making the most of being at home and having some new kinds of fun!
