Swab the deck!

Hope likes to help with chores. That generally makes everything take twice as long, but most of the time that's ok. But there are some chores that are absolutely just mine or Daddy's, and among those is mopping. Imagine the sloppy mess a 4-year-old would make with a wet mop!

Wellllll, for whatever reason, I let her talk me into letting her help with mopping the other day. And it was a sloppy mess. She had so much water on the floor that I had to sop it up with a towel. But since she was wearing her little sailor dress, and she looked like such a good little matey, I couldn't resist!
