For a couple of weeks now, Hope has been crazy about her dolls and one doll in particular. Her favorite one is a baby boy that she calls Dad-n (Dadden?), which is the word she says for Daddy. We can only assume she named him Daddy because he's cute and bald, like Daddy. Anyway, it's adorable to see ~my~ baby taking care of ~her~ baby. She puts him in diapers, gives him a bottle, offers him bites of whatever she's eating (usually accompanied by "num num!"), kisses him, pats him, claps his hands for him, and I promise I caught her trying to sing to him once. She is such a great little Mommy!

If Hope is a good "mommy", it is because she has a wonderful example....Holly and Carl, you are the most loving, gentle and responsible parents.
