Grandparents

Hope is so blessed to have four grandparents who love her with all their might! She clearly loves them too. And it's fun to see how she loves each of them for different things.

Daddy's parents are Grandmom and Grandad, and even though she doesn't see them very often, she takes right to them whenever we get to visit. Grandmom is creative and loves to make believe with Hope. They can invent elaborate games of pretend! Here's a picture of them playing with some chocolates and a basket - a game that lasted for an entire evening!

Grandad pretty much thinks that Hope is the very best thing he's ever seen. He can't get enough! He thinks she's hilarious, and I'm sure she knows it because she puts on a show for him. She loves to flirt and play with him, and they really get a kick out of making bear sounds at each other.

My parents are Grandma and Grandpa, and there are few things as fun for me as seeing them love on Hope and her love on them. Grandma is a comfort for Hope; she knows the ins and outs of Hope-world very well and I think Hope considers her Mommy #2. And she always knows just how to bless Hope's socks off with a special snack or game or treat! Grandma gets lots of sweet, sweet cuddles :)

Grandpa is lots of fun! He's great at teaching her sounds, how stuff works, and how to turn ordinary things into amusements. And he's always up for tickle monster, chase, playing horse, and all the other rowdy games she loves. But when he's around at naptime or bedtime, she loves to snuggle up and touch his face until she falls asleep.

What a lucky, lucky girl!
