Ice, Ice Baby!

I don't remember how it started, but a few weeks ago Hope became obsessed with ice cubes. She asks for ice throughout the day, everyday. "Ice?Ice?Ice?Ice?Ice?" It's a bit much sometimes, especially when we're at a restaurant. So even though we walked away from the baby sign language trend many months ago, we taught her to sign 'please' so that her non-stop asking is at least polite :)

It cracks me up that she's on tiptoes in this picture. Like maybe THAT will make her tall enough to get in the freezer!

This is how serious she is about loving ice. She took one bite of this awesome cookie, then asked for/demanded ice. She rejected the yummy cookie completely ... for ice!

I will have to use restraint about replying to this blog, because all the sugary "grandma" comments may be a little off-putting to some of your readers...BUT - I have to say that I was present when these photos were taken and her love for ice is truly an obsession!
Also, that she looked completely, utterly adorable in her new black and white ensemble and that later, when we took her to a restaurant, she was a perfect lady ( even though she still begged for ice, her behavior was perfect). What a little doll!
I love Hopie and her angel mommy...

She is awesome :)

I love that she refused the cookie for ice. That cracks me up. :)

Lexi once decided to forgo cake for broccoli. Not sure it'd fly now, but perhaps.

I love your kid and I love YOU!
