Make room for baby!

Introducing Grant!

Born September 21st, 7:02pm. 8 pounds, 20 inches of handsome snuggliness.

I will spare the world the details of labor and delivery. Suffice it to say everything went well and we were supremely blessed. We've been home for two weeks now, and while it's been a little crazy, it's been very good! Grant is a good sleeper and eater, occasionally throwing us for a loop but mostly being pretty laid-back.

Some things we know about him already?
- He's full of surprises. Who would've bet he'd be anything other than a redhead?!

- He does not like gas bubbles or hiccups.

- He does not like baths.

- He can be counted on to pee on me during middle of the night diaper changes.

Hope LOVES (loves, loves, loves!) her baby brother. She wants to kiss, cuddle, and pet him every chance she gets. And it takes effort to keep her out of his room - out of the crib actually - when he's sleeping. She hasn't seemed jealous yet, but it's still early. Mostly, if someone other than me or Daddy is holding Grant, she asks them to "give him to my Mommy."

This blog of hers will have to become this blog of theirs, so we need to make some changes. The pink background will have to go. And we need a new title. Any suggestions?

I bet you could come up with something great with both of their names.

Grant Me Hope?

Hope Granted?

Sticking to the same theme as your current title, what about "Our gifts from God?"

"White Bread Days"?
"(Extra)ordinary Days"?

Baby Grant is a precious blessing...and he won the lottery when he was born into your family!
