Dress up

As Hope recovers from being sick, we're spending a lot of time at home. Usually we find errands or outings of some sort to do almost everyday, but we've pretty much been homebodies for the past couple of days. It's been mostly good, as it's caused me to explore a few new things to occupy Hope. This one, however, was a complete stroke of luck.

I was going through her clothes, packing up things that are too little and getting out things that she's growing into. In the process, she happened to see her bathing suits and swim diapers. I really try NOT to let her see them, because every time she does she wants to put them on. But since we weren't going anywhere, why not? It evolved into her putting on all kinds of random things. From the inside out: a diaper, her pants, a swim diaper, bathing suit, poncho, Mommy's slippers, a big turquoise ring. She thought she looked ~good~ too!

Later on, after I got her back in her regular clothes, she thought she should at least get to try on more of Mommy's shoes while she had a snack. Heels and a cookie ... reminds me of when I used to work :)

These I just have to share for your enjoyment and Hope's future embarrassment. Her face cracks me up in this one! Doesn't it look like she should be using a fake French accent? Or being Elvis? Or the apple stinks or something?

This is mid-sneeze. Really not a Kodak moment, but I thought it was funny ...

Those are hysterical pictures! She's going to hate you for those pics when she's older but it's priceless to catch those funny moments :-)

My vote is for an Elvis look!

The one with the apple is my favorite. Her face has so much personality!

The apple pic is AWESOME! I totally dig it. And really think she might spout out in some French in short order.
