For weeks (months?) Grandpa has been refurbishing the kitchen set that he made for me and Aunt K when we were kids, and he recently brought it over for Hope. It was adorable just how it was, but now it's freshly painted with new knobs and handles and working lights! Not only that, but Grandpa and Grandma had it stocked with a working coffee pot and blender, pots and pans, oven mits, and tons of play food.
She LOVES it! The day after she got it she played with it for two and a half hours straight. That makes it a gift for Mommy too :)
Her favorite parts are wearing the oven mits and putting things in the oven, cracking the egg into the pan and flipping it with a spatula, opening the doors and making the lights come on, and pouring pretend drinks into cups.

It's really special for me to see her enoying something that I enjoyed so much, and to see how much pleasure that brings to my Dad.
Thanks Grandpa!

That's adorable! What a great gift for her (and definitely for you too)!
I'm SO jealous!! That kitchen is fantastic! She's going to love that for LONG time.
That is AWESOME! What a great kitchen! And yes, she'll play with that for years!
(Is your dad into making more? ;)
