For one thing, there are much fewer students in this class - there are only 8 of them! Ms. Gail and Ms. Bev were excited that Grant would be in this class, because they said his fun little personality and compassion would really help the group gel. So far they've had a lot of fun, and started some work with letters.
I think if it had worked out for Grant to start kindergarten this year, he would have been fine. He's good at listening to directions, working with other kids, and focusing. But I'm relishing this last year of preschool, where he only goes for a couple of hours three days a week, because I know it's my LAST year to have a buddy to pal around with all the time. As much as it will feel good, in some ways, to have the days to myself when they're both in school, I know these days are the "white bread days." I'm soaking it up!

You won't believe how much you'll miss them when they are both in school all day! Also - how much you'll love having them both in school all day! ha ha
The REAL emptiness hits you when they leave home, but you have some sweet years ahead before you have to face that!
He is the best boy in the whole wold!
