Hope is 7!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Hope's 7th birthday! She wanted a small tea party this time, so we only had six girls over, but they had a blast. They decorated crowns and flower pots, played 'kiss the frog,' got their nails painted by Hope's obliging Grandma and Grandmom, they had a dance party, played in the yard, and of course had "tea" (every single one of them chose lemonade instead). It was simple, and sweet, but definitely not quiet or low-key. Six little girls can be loud and rowdy, even in their fancy dresses!

Hope's actual birthday was the following day. Grandmom and Grandad were with us for the weekend, and we invited the Andersen's over for Hope's birthday dinner. She requested spaghetti ... AGAIN.

At the check-up later in the week she weighed in at 53.6 pounds (Grant is 54.2!) and 4'1". She's gotten quite a bit taller this year! Hope is beautiful, and amazing. She blows me away! 7 looks good on her :)
