Look Who's Three and a Half

This handsome charmer just turned three and a half! He doesn't seem to understand what that means, or why we cared about a day that's NOT his birthday, but he had fun with it anyway.


In keeping with our tradition, we wore silly hats at dinner. And, in keeping with Grant's latest quirks, he made a weird face and shot me a thumbs up when I asked him to pose for a picture!
Of the choices I gave him, he chose cheeseburgers for dinner. But what he really cared about was the half a cake. He told me very plainly that he wanted white cake with vanilla frosting and cherries on top. Then he confirmed, multiple times, that it would indeed have cherries on top.

Six months makes such a difference at this age. He already seems like such a big boy - so funny and charming and SMART. I'm sure he'll blow my mind by the time we're celebrating his real birthday!
