We just got back from Grant's 2-month check-up, where the doctor confirmed that he's a big, beautiful ball of cuddliness. 13 pounds and 1 ounce, 23.5 inches - puts him in the 75th percentile. Way to grow, buddy!
I felt sorry for the nurse who administered the shots. She was so in love with Grant, who was putting on a good show of cooing, smiling, and being generally adorable. It seemed to break her heart to have to stab him with those two mean old shots! He was definitely not her friend after that :(
The doctor said Grant's "floppy airway" seems to have improved some since last month's visit. Thank God for that! Supposedly it poses no danger to him, but I'll be thrilled when it's no longer floppy and he can eat and sleep without all the squeaky gaspy sounds.
I'm happy with how Grant is doing, and happy that he's now deep in a post-shots nap!
