What a kook!

Corinne taught Hope the word 'kook,' which is harmless and benign. But somehow when Hope uses it in context, looks you square in the face, and tells you that you're a kook ... it's hilarious! The fact that she ~does~ understand the context is what amuses me. She's smart, I tell you.

But that's not the only unusual lingo she uses in correct context. Hope and Grandma like to tease and say "Well FINE!" complete with the attitude and emphasis. It's gone a step further, and now she regularly pops her little head back and forth and says "Excuuuuuuse ME!" Comedy. It sounds obnoxious, but it's actually very cute :)

Another one, which I wouldn't tell the world except at the urging of friends, is "Oh snap!" Daddy and I said it a few times at dinner after hearing it on My Name is Earl, and Hope picked right up on it. She doesn't say it often, in fact she only says it for one occasion - pooping. Yes, my delicate little flower almost always grunts "Oh snaaaap!" while she's filling her diaper. I defy you, even the most polite of you, to NOT laugh when you hear that.

Won't she be glad to hear that story when she's a teenager?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.........What a crazy little family!

Did you like some of the stories we repeated about your childhood antics? Remember - "how do you spell birth control?"

Priceless!
