Some cookies were decorated with sprinkles. I hear Hope and Grandpa fed each other quite a few sprinkles too! I think Hope is trying to show a mouthful of sprinkles in this picture.
The rest of the cookies were painted with an egg yolk/food coloring paint. She's still pretty new to painting, and prefers swishing the brush in the paint to actually putting any on the paper (or cookie, in this case). But she definitely got some painted!
And her painting technique looks more like stabbing with the brush than making strokes, so some cookies came out a little ... dented.
