Happy Halloween!

This morning wasn't Hope's best. We had a couple of errands to run, which meant sitting in shopping carts for her - not her favorite thing. Lunch with N, one of her favorite friends, was a highlight in an otherwise cranky morning.

Not so after naptime! First of all, Daddy was already home when she woke up so that was special. They greeted each other with tickles and zerberts. Then she got to help Mommy make cookies. Lately she loves to help in the kitchen!



Then, Miss N came over to show us her kitty cat costume and bring Hope a special Halloween present. Hope went bonkers when she saw N again! Twice in one day - oh the excitement! We pulled on the 'daf' costume so they could check each other out. So, so cute!



If Hope weren't giddy enough at this point, then Grandma and Grandpa came over. Holy moly, I thought she was going to blow a gasket! The next hour or two included galloping around the house on a pretend horse (a lollipop), dinner games with Grandma and Grandpa, trick or treat kids coming to the door, dancing in the kitchen, and being ALL kinds of crazy. She was in rare, super-spasmo form! It definitely made up for the no-fun morning :)
