Warm December, January Blizzard

It's hard to believe that December saw many days in the 60s and even low 70s. It was glorious, even if it didn't feel very Christmasy! It also spoiled us.

Because January brought record-breaking Blizzard Jonas and about 30 inches of snow overnight. It was just too much for the plows to handle, and even after it had warmed up and the roads were ok, school was still cancelled because the sidewalks and school parking lots were snow-covered. But we were lucky to have stocked up on food and snow gear, and we made the most of our many days off!
