Movie night

Hope has always loved movies, like Daddy. Historically, Grant hasn't had the attention span for movies and was really only interested in cartoon-type shows anyway. But suddenly Grant seems to be getting into it which means ... movie nights!

We watched Home Alone a couple of nights ago, and it was a hit! The suspense was just enough for them, and they loved how the little boy set "traps" all over his house.

This night we were watching Narnia (The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe). Hope and Daddy have been reading through the Chronicles of Narnia, which I love too, so we were eager to show her the movie. We skipped the hard-to-watch scene where Aslan is killed on the Stone Table.

It's so fun that Hope and Grant can now get into movies we actually enjoy too :) Popcorn and blankets and movie night - it doesn't get much better!

These photos will become so precious as the years pass. I am so happy that you have such a sweet family life and that you document it for your children and grandchildren.
