Fall and Thankfulness

I love living in a part of the country that has four distinct seasons (even though I wish winter was half as long!). I think winter weather is about to come swooping in this weekend, but so far we've been enjoying a gorgeous fall. There has been ample sunshine, hayrides, apple picking, lots of popcorn, some time enjoying the fire pit, country drives, and pretty soon it will be Thanksgiving. And we have so much to be thankful for - the incredible health we enjoy, this beautiful place where we get to live, our close family and special friendships. I don't know why God chooses to dish out his favor the way that he does, but I'm so very thankful!
