We are deep into summer break, and have only had a few occasions to play with school friends lately. For the most part, it's been "out of sight, out of mind." But when I mentioned to Grant that we were going to his friend Sydney's house for dinner, that's all he could think about. Then he was reminded again how much he likes her, and how VERY much she likes him!
Grant told me when he saw Sydney he was going to give her a big hug and a kiss, to which I replied that he should probably ask first if it's ok to kiss her. He suggested that I send a text message to her mom to ask :) She replied, "Syd says 'Grant is always allowed and no one else can. He can always, always give me a kiss!" True love!
After our evening together, we were getting in the car and Grant looked out at Sydney and said, "I just really love you, and I choose you for my wife!" She smiled and said, "Ok!" Then, for good measure, he added "I will buy you one thousand cakes!" HE IS ADORABLE.
