Camp

Right after school ended for the summer, Hope spent a week attending day camp at a farm around the corner. She's never done an all-day camp, and I wasn't sure how she'd like it. She LOVED it!

Jocelyn went with her, and Adam, another neighborhood friend - I think that was half the fun. But they went swimming twice a day, rode and cared for horses, did nature walks, crafts, sports, and so on. She came home absolutely filthy every day, and seemed to enjoy every minute of it.

One day during the week families were invited in for a camp cookout, which was pretty low-key. But I enjoyed seeing what Hope had been experiencing, and she had fun showing us around. I'm so glad she had the experience, gained some independence, and really enjoyed it!
