When They Grow Up

I asked Hope and Grant what they wanted to be, where they wanted to live, and what kind of family they'd like to have when they grow up. Here are their answers:

Grant: When I grow up I'm going to be a firework shooter and drive a monster truck. And it's going to be loud! I'll have TEN dollars! And use it to buy stuff. I'm going to live next to Miga (that's what he calls Grandma), so I won't be real far away but just a tiny bit away. I'm going to have a wife and some brothers. My wife will have six babies.

Hope: When I grow up I'm going to be a scientist, a teacher, a doctor, an artist, and a Mama. I'm going to live right next to Grandma, and drive one of those cars without a top. I'm going to have a husband, but I don't know what his name is going to be. We'll have seven babies. I'll go to the grocery store for fun, and my kids will have play dates for fun. I'll use my money at the store to buy stuff for my kids' birthdays.

Oh, how precious to me that they want to live nearby! You always said that, too. And now, to my everlasting gratitude, you do.
I love the sweetness and innocence and confidence of their answers. Guess you'd better get busy on those brothers for Grant! ( JUST KIDDING! )
