Mother's Day

My little family treated me right this year for Mother's Day - they sent me to a resort overnight with my best friend, complete with beautiful view, meals out, and a spa package! It was lovely to get a little time away to just rest.


All that rest came in handy, because when I returned on Mother's Day afternoon, we headed straight out for some adventuring. We spent a couple of hours at least at the giant children's museum, then walked around the harbor, got ice cream, and chartered this dragon paddle boat. We ended the day with dinner and a movie at home. All in all, it was pretty perfect!
