Fingernails

Hope is not your average 3-year-old. I know, every mom says that. And while it's true that I think she's exceptional in every way (thankyouverymuch), that's not what I mean. What I mean is ... she's a little odd.

But her unique little likes and dislikes have definitely endeared her to our friends, as evidenced by some of the hilarious and thoughtful gifts she got for her birthday. Seriously, what other 3-year-old gets a bag full of all kinds of soap and hand sanitizer for her birthday?!

Two separate friends got her makeup and fingernail kits - and they were both high on the list of favorite gifts! Here's her first French manicure, courtesy of the polish in Ms. Holly's gift:

And here she's modeling the press-on nails she got from Ms. Christie. I thought these looked so funny on her, but she thought they were HOT and referred to them as her "Grandma nails."

What will she get when she turns 4? False eyelashes?!
