I'm sure that as Hope and Grant grow up, they'll be good playmates and friends. I hope that, even as adults, they'll always think it's special to have a little brother/big sister. For now, having a big sister is proving to be ... let's say ... an adventure for Grant.
At his last checkup, the doctor was going through the standard routine - weight, heart, eyes, nose, ears, etc. Then she opened up his diaper to examine the nether-regions. It surprised me when she looked up and asked, "Grant has a big sister at home, doesn't he?"
Huh?! Yeah, why? What about his diaper area is an indication that he has a big sister?
The doctor chuckled. It was the gold glitter that tipped her off.
Somehow it came off of one of Hope's various glittery toys, pieces of jewelry, clothes, dolls, make-up, shoes - who knows what - and ended up on the little guy's man-parts.
To be fair, she's probably more horrified everytime he spits up on her stuff (which is often) than he'll ever be by some stray glitter on his business!

HAHAHA! I read this out loud to Stacy and we both were cracking up.
This is hilarious Holly! I'm sure Grant will get her back when he's older. :)
