Hello, solids!

Everything you read says to start a baby on solid food between 4 and 6 months. With Hope, we waited until 6 months because it seemed like an unnecessary mess and she didn't seem to care. Not so with Grant!

The boy is only 4 months old, but he watches with great interest when we're eating and just has this look on his face that clearly says, "I want to try! Can I try? Gimme!"

So we rolled out the rice cereal the other day to introduce Grant to the wonderful world of solid food. He slurped it up like it was delicious soup, and wanted to eat it faster than I could spoon it out. In between bites he'd shove his fists and bib in his mouth, unable to contain his little excitement!

Next up is orange veggies, then fruit. Yum!
