Hope was playing with our new water filter this morning, and asked what it is. I explained that we'll fill it up and keep it in the refrigerator so we can have cool, clean water whenever we want.
I was immediately aware of what a blessing that is. So I told her simply that lots of people don't have clean water, and it's something we can thank God for.
She continued playing, but said loudly "Thank you God for clean water!" I'm often overwhelmed at the thought of the many parents out there who can't provide for their children, so it really touched my heart. And I imagine God smiled at Hope's little prayer too.
