Snow day, part 2

We waited all afternoon for Daddy to get home and play in the snow with us. It was well worth the wait!

She wanted the mittens off, which wasn't going to happen. But when it came time to hold snowballs, then she seemed happy to have them. I thought she'd want to throw the snow at Daddy, since he's her regular rough-house partner, but they ganged up on Mommy instead!

Here, she's discovering that she can make boot prints in the snow, and that it makes a crunchy sound when you stomp in it. Fun :)

At first, Hope wasn't real sure about lying down in the snow. But once she understood how to move her arms and legs to make the snow angel, then it was ok. Especially when Daddy did it too!

She's been talking about the sled ride ever since. She says "Daddy run! Fast, fast! Cirrrr-cles!"

The pink! The cute! I love snow pics. Kids have a way of making the most average things seem extraordinary. :)
