Preschool graduation

I've already said many times that Grant's preschool was fantastic, and it's entirely because of Ms. Gail. She is a wonderful teacher, and just the right combination of tender, playful, and tough. She made sure Grant and his classmates learned what they needed to, and she did it in a way that was appropriate for each child. One of the benefits of a very small class size!

Grant always enjoyed preschool. Then a few weeks back they had a kindergarten "preview" at the elementary school, so Grant got to go in and see what a kindergarten classroom is like. Honestly, it's a lot like his preschool classroom, but nevertheless, he was in awe! He looked around and said, "Mom! Everywhere I look my eyes are amazed!" Ever since then he was ready to move on.

So when preschool graduation night came, it was bittersweet. I'm literally sad that we won't be part of his sweet, sweet country preschool anymore, and that we won't see his teachers every other day. But, I'm so thrilled for the Buddy. He is ready for kindergarten and then some!
