Weekends with Daddy

Almost every weekday, Daddy gets up and leaves the house by about 5am. He does it so that he can exercise before work, so that he's not taking any unnecessary time away from the family to do it after work. It's quite a commitment, and one that I really value.

That makes it all the sweeter on the weekends, when he's here for the morning wake-up routines. He usually hops out of bed when he hears Grant bumping around in his room, and leaves me and Annie to sleep in a little longer. By the time we get up, Hope has joined Grant and Daddy and they're either playing or watching TV or sometimes in the middle of a craft.

I found all three of them snuggled up in Grant's little twin size bed the other day, watching Curious George on the tablet. Could they be any cuter?!
