This year's project was about how sponges hold water. She and I made some plans, she and Daddy did all the experimenting, then she made her presentation and talked to the judges.
There were tons of entries in this year's science fair. Between that, the fact that she's already won twice, and the limitation on including water in her hands-on display, Hope was pretty sure she wouldn't win anything this year. She was tickled when they called her name as one of the "excellent" project winners for second grade!
I'm so proud of her! Not only does she have good ideas, but she sticks with the work, and explains herself well. Go Hope!
