No more snow!

Snow is pretty, it is fun for sledding, it is cozy with hot chocolate and a fire, and it's nice to have around at Christmas. Then, I'm done. But like last year, this was one of those winters that just snowed and snowed and SNOWED!

At first it was fun - school delays and cancellations, sledding, throwing snowballs, and making snowmen. Wearing pajamas all day and staying cozy inside together.

Then they had to tack a bunch of days to the end of the school year to make up for the snow days. Bummer. And we looked longingly out at the swing set, remembering hours of running around the yard with the sun freckling our faces.

And finally it just seemed like - enough already!

Despite today's slushy snowfall, it is still the first day of spring. And we are all so, so ready!
