Grant used to always hate it when his hair stood up at all. For some reason he always referred to it as "giraffe hair," and he would tell me every night when I towel dried his hair that he did NOT want giraffe hair.
But recently, something has changed. Now, he likes to comb and style his hair. I even bought him a little hair wax so he can get it to stand up on purpose!
It seems like his new appreciation for hair style happened by accident, when he was playing with a spray bottle of water that Miga uses for her hair. She says the comb and water bottle are regular attractions for Grant when he's at her house, and that once, when she commented on his grooming he said, "Yeah, I like to look manly AND stylish!"
