What a strange and kind of gross thing to look forward to, right? But I suppose it's the sign of growing up that makes it really so thrilling.
Well, the big day happened about 10 days ago. She had been excitedly wiggling that little loose tooth for about two days, when it just popped right out while she was brushing. Major, major excitement!
She had already insisted that since she doesn't believe in the tooth fairy and knows it's really the parents who do the tooth/money swap, that I leave the tooth AND the money. She was happy to find both in the morning!
I'm pretty sure this first tooth lost was also the first tooth she ever got. Sigh. Why does she have to be growing up so fast??

It was much more fun seeing these darling teeth coming IN than to see them falling out.... Hope is growing up at an alarming rate!!
