Words

Today is a "home day." One of those rare days when we have no plans to go anywhere, see anyone, or do anything. Just be at home. These are usually long, tiring days for me but if I start out with the right perspective (and keep my energy up!) then I'm usually blessed by the kids and their craziness.

It helps that Hope, who is newly covered in temporary tattoos, just said "Mom, you're the coolest!"

And it thrills me to hear Grant's cute baby voice starting to make words! He overheard me telling Grandma on the phone that he can now say "Nana" for banana. He immediately said "Nana! Nana!" and crawled up the stairs to the kitchen, in search of a banana. Cutie pie.
