Grant had mentioned several times that his eyes "go in and out of focus" sometimes, and said it made him really have to concentrate on his school papers. I figured a trip to the optometrist was in order! Sure enough, my little buddy is farsighted and needs glasses. While I'd rather him be free from the need, I'm glad that he was excited about having glasses and not upset about it. Maybe it helped that I had to get a pair too! We're both new glasses-wearers!
As it turns out, the pair he picked is not only totally adorable, but has a G on the side (they're Guess brand). He thought that was pretty perfect. It's only been a couple of weeks, but so far he's been good about remembering them and taking care of them. And he looks just as cute as can be!
