Zoo field trip

Today was Grant's kindergarten field trip to the zoo. We had a gorgeous day for it, and everything went smoothly.

We enjoyed the animals, we had fun with the classmates, and ate lunch while watching the elephants play. All in all, a good trip.

But my favorite part was when Grant saw this tree and it just took his breath away. He stared at it for a minute and actually got a little teary-eyed about how beautiful it was. That boy has a heart of pure, solid gold!
